Citrix Summit 2016: We're Feeling the Love

We’re fresh off the airplane from this week’s Citrix Summit 2016 in Las Vegas, the premier professional development technology conference for Citrix partners. Here’s what we learned:

We’re at the same party.

Our on-site team felt right at home amidst conversations about application, desktop virtualization, and virtual desktop. One of our team members mentioned, “it’s exciting to know that Citrix seems to be driving toward a space (including VDI) that we (Tricerat) already do well."

Back to the basics.

Change looks good on Citrix, and we were thrilled to see the new leadership team confidently stepping in to re-center focus on the core products we know and love. No futuristic looks, no extensive product demos, just an in-depth look at their core products and how they are shaped for growth and success.

Everything [Was] Awesome.

Performances by the Goo Goo Dolls, Jabbawockeez, and tens of thousands of LEGOS made for a pretty exciting week. We were able to meet and greet our recent podcast guest and Director of Healthcare Solutions, Christian Boucher and talk more about our latest foray into the healthcare space.

We felt the love.

#CitrixPartnerLove was all around, and even available via live stream if you couldn’t make it out to the desert. From what we could tell, around half of the 4,000 attendees were partners like us. We appreciated the chance to to connect with Citrix employees and other partners and to have our questions and concerns addressed first-hand. We also really loved the Citrix App that helped us connect with new and existing contacts and find breakout sessions.

Looking forward to next year already!
